Dirk Hartog Island

Dirk Hartog Island is one of Australia's premier eco-tourism destinations located 19 nautical miles off the coast of Western Australia.

Situated in the pristine World Heritage Area of Shark Bay and just meters from the Shark Bay Marine Park, Dirk Hartog Island Lodge offers guests one of Australia's most unique holiday experiences.

The Lodge offers five twin/double rooms and two twin/triple rooms, all with en-suite facilities.There is also a bar, a TV room, a lounge area and a great outdoor entertaining area.  Wireless internet is available along with telephone and fax facilities.

"It is with great pleasure that I take the opportunity to comment on what I believe is one of the great places on earth.

One such place is Dirk Hartog Island on the mid coast of Western Australia.

The island is rugged, breathtaking and fisherman's paradise. However it has many other qualities that make it a must see place.

I have been to such places in my time. What I have not found is the service that is included with this package. Delightful young Australians Kieran and Tory Wardle.

If Tory is not the best cook then I have yet to find him/her. If Kieran is not the best host well who is?"
